CARLOW SPORTS PARTNERSHIP DELIVERS WALKING PACKS & PROGRAMME
TO PROMOTE SAFE OUTDOOR EXERCISE
The first 100 of our walking packs have been delivered yesterday with the help of Carlow Community Gardai – Garda Essmay & Garda Frank.
The packs were delivered to 5 adult disability organisations in County Carlow -Delta Centre Carlow, NLN/Rehab Care Carlow, Skillbase Carlow, Cairdeas Centre Tullow & BEAM Bagenalstown.
Each walking pack contains:
- Hi Vis Top
- Hi Vis Armband
- Bobble Hat
- Pouch for keys and phone
- Pedometer
- Head light
- Drawstring bag
Each participating centre are on a ‘whats app group’ with local Carlow instructor Joe Dunny and will complete the inclusive programme “Couch 2 Ks” while adhering to government guidelines regarding Covid19.
