Pre Swim For A Mile County Carlow 2022
Swim For A Mile programme runs annually, starting in January, and involves 12 weeks of training, followed by a timed mile or a half-mile swim.
You have the option of training in your own time or registering for SFAM coached sessions at one of the SFAM associated pools.
The programme progresses participants from being able to swim 2 lengths of a swimming pool, to completing a full mile on the 7th April 2022 at St Fiacc's Swimming Pool Graiguecullen.
Swim Ireland coaches have written swimming programmes that will enable those who can swim a little to swim a mile in just 12 weeks.
Swim Ireland programme aims to get adults and children, from age 12, back in the pool and swimming regularly. The event is aimed at anyone who can swim at least 2 lengths of a 25m pool.
